Slip-n-Slide: August 13th!!

It is almost time for the second annual J.Rich Atlanta Slip-n-Slide!! We are so excited to celebrate the end of Summer with you and your family!

This year, in honor of the 2016 Summer Olympics AND the 20 year anniversary of the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, our Slip-n-Slide is (you guessed it!) Olympics themed! This means that in addition to sliding a mile, we will have games, prizes, and even medals!

Make sure to come dressed in your best red,white, and blue attire and we can't wait to see you on August 13th! Check out all the details below!

Brilliant! Update

Since launching Brilliant! at the beginning of this year, we have had the incredible honor of hearing amazing stories of people and organizations making a huge impact in our communities and around the world.

Our team is constantly amazed by the impact our partners are making. In the last 6 months we have had the opportunity to work with charity:water and The East Lake Foundation . Through these partnerships we have been able to be a part of : providing clean water to 300 people in Ethiopia, enhancing education for 400 students by providing tools for their after school program (such as a 3D printer), and sponsored 8 children from the Villages of East Lake to attend Sheltering Arms Learning Academy.

Thank YOU for working with us and allowing us to invest in these amazing organizations. We can't wait to see what the rest of the year holds!

Greater Good BBQ - Opening Soon!

In 2007 potential plans were talked about for a new commercial development at 2nd avenue and Hosea Williams Drive. Unfortunately, due to the recession any progress on this project was left to just a dream. Since then, there have been talks of several different potential retail concepts and ideas but it wasn't until last year that this corner was officially announced as a new home to four new restaurants.

This corner is finally taking shape and huge progress is being made, specifically with the second location of Greater Good BBQ. This restaurant is a huge success at it's original location in Tucker and it is a very exciting addition to the East Lake community! This will be a place that families can walk to and enjoy dinner with their neighbors. We are counting down until the grand opening!

In addition to Greater Good BBQ, there will be three additional restaurants in this development. One of which was announced earlier this year, Poor Hendrix, which will be small bites and bar type restaurant. 

Eight years in the making... the vacant corner on second and Hosea is turning into a place for the community to gather and create great memories! We are so excited!
